JOAN OF ARC STAMP

A postage stamp bearing the head of Joan of' Arc will be issued in France to celebrate the five hundredth anniversary of the relief of Orleans. For a period of six months the ordinary 50 centime stamp will be replaced by the new issue. M. Cheron. the Minister of commerce and Posts, has just informed the Mayor of Orleans of his decision.
